Dior hosts Gala Dinner for Venetian Heritage at Teatro La Fenice

Christian Dior hosted a Gala Dinner in partnership with Venetian Heritage, an organisation devoted to the preservation of the art, architecture, literature and music of Venice. It was set within the city’s most prestigious opera house, Teatro La Fenice. Drawing on the fine and opulent style of Christian Dior, the table was set with bespoke pieces for the occasion and designed by Artistic Director of Dior Cordelia de Castellane. Particularly of note was the lace edges of the tablecloths and napkins handmade with traditional artisanal techniques by the Venetian House, Jesurum Venezia.

The Gala raised funds for the preservation of Venice’s ‘cultural treasures’ such as the Ca d’Oro, and contributed support to Ukranian refugees in Italy.
